The Canyon Lake Yacht Club invites the community to set sail on its next Cocktail Cruise on Saturday, September 12. Boats will meet at the docks at the lodge at 6 p.m. All boaters are welcome. Club membership and boat ownership are not required to participate. Seating is limited for walk-ons.
Participating boats will follow the lead Yacht Club boat on a slow cruise around the main lake before tying up in Catfish Cove to enjoy food and beverages while watching the sunset. Participants are asked to bring their own food and beverages. The club encourages participants to bring a mask and follow public health guidelines during this event.
The Yacht Club was established in 1990 by Canyon Lake residents who enjoyed being on the lake. Since that time, the Yacht Club has operated as a social and philanthropic club within the Canyon Lake constellation of sanctioned clubs and organizations.
The club has grown to more than 125 members and maintains a fun and busy social calendar, bringing members together for dinners, cruises, and other recreation. For more information, visit www.canyonlakeyachtclub.com.
