The City of Murrieta Tree Lighting and Concert event will be held on Saturday, December 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Town Square Park and Amphitheater.
Festivities include character appearances, photos with Santa, food vendors, crafts, and a brass quartet and jazz trio playing favorite holiday songs. The 40-foot pine tree located in the heart of Town Square will be lit at 6:30 p.m.
In the morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m., kids can get a treat and enjoy a visit with Santa at Donuts with Santa. This event will take place at Town Square Park and Amphitheater between the library and the amphitheater.
Dunkin’ Donuts will be on-site to provide donuts for the first 400 children and coffee for adults. There will also be holiday crafts and photo ops with Santa. While there is no fee to attend, the city is asking attendees to bring one can of non-perishable food as a way to support the city’s Holiday Toy and Food Drive.
