The Canyon Lake POA Board of Directors recognized Ria Riley as September’s Member of the Month for her outstanding contributions to the community.
A Canyon Lake resident since 2007 and the owner of the Sports Stop Pub & Grill since 2016, Riley has been a dedicated supporter and sponsor of numerous community events, including Oktoberfest, Rocktoberfest, Parade of Frights, and the Holiday Boat Parade. She also plays a role in supporting community clubs, chamber events, golf tournaments, and school functions.
In June, Riley catered a free meal to about 70 seniors at the Canyon Lake Senior Center and will be catering another free meal later this month.
Riley’s contributions make a positive impact on the Canyon Lake community. In 2023, the City of Canyon Lake honored Riley with the Jordan Ehrenkranz Spirit Award, which is presented annually to a resident who embodies community spirit and selflessly devotes their time to bettering the community.
