The City of Lake Elsinore recently welcomed key film industry partners and site selection agents for a two-day film familiarization tour designed to showcase Lake Elsinore’s locations and strengthen ongoing efforts to attract film, television, and commercial productions.
In partnership with the Riverside County Film Commission, Inland Empire Film Services, and FILM LE, the tour highlighted Lake Elsinore’s accessibility, film-friendly environment, low-cost permitting, and commitment to supporting the entertainment industry.
“Bringing film and television production to Lake Elsinore is a strategic investment in our local economy,” Economic Development Director Gina Gonzalez said. “This tour allowed industry partners to experience firsthand the diversity of our locations and the ease of working in our city. Through FILM LE and our regional partnerships, we are committed to making Lake Elsinore a competitive and film-friendly destination that supports jobs, local businesses, and long-term economic growth.”
Over the course of two days, representatives toured a variety of film-ready locations throughout the city, including Downtown Main Street, Launch Pointe, the lake, Skydive Elsinore, Lake Elsinore Raceway, and Lake Elsinore Casino, along with other action sports venues that highlight the city’s character and versatility for production.
“This familiarization tour is an important step in positioning Lake Elsinore as a premier filming destination in Southern California,” Mayor Pro Tem Timothy J. Sheridan said. “From our iconic lake and lively downtown to our action sports venues, Lake Elsinore offers a diverse backdrop for storytellers. We look forward to partnering with regional film organizations to attract more productions and the economic benefits they bring to our community.”
