The City of Lake Elsinore and CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department – Lake Elsinore are partnering to host its inaugural Firefighters BBQ, a free family-friendly event to express gratitude to the dedicated firefighters who protect the community and to the residents who support them.
The Firefighters BBQ will be held on Saturday, May 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Launch Pointe, and will feature an afternoon of engaging activities suitable for all ages, including opportunities to meet and thank local firefighters. firefighter games and competitions, interactive activities and games for kids, demonstrations showcasing rescue tools in action, and raffles.
The first 1,000 attendees will receive a free hot dog, chips, and water.
This appreciation gathering also raises funds for the Burn Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering burn survivors, providing essential support services, and educating communities to prevent fire and burn injuries.
