On May 29, the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association presented its Community Patrol report for April. The report highlighted Community Patrol’s activities, showing 383 calls for service, an increase of 55 calls from the previous month.
In addition to 106 warnings, staff issued 155 citations to members, 123 to guests, and one to a service provider.
Staff issued three speeding citations, 97 parking citations, 37 failure to stop at a stop sign citations, three noise citations, 13 prohibited vehicle citations, 33 non-registered golf cart citations, 26 e-bike citations, and 54 miscellaneous citations.
Sixteen citations were issued for property damage, and three citations were issued for vandalism.
Three citations were issued for unauthorized entry, and 10 for misuse of access identification. Twenty-six guest passes were confiscated.
The Canyon Lake Property Owners Association contracts its Community Patrol services. Community Patrol’s primary functions are compliance with rules and regulations, gate access control, and incident observation and reporting. For emergencies or to report a crime, residents should call 9-1-1.
