The Menifee Police Department will take to the streets for its annual Pop Patrol event, bringing free frozen treats and community engagement opportunities to parks throughout the city.
On Wednesday, July 1, the Pop Patrol will be stopping by four Menifee parks to hand out free stickers and ice-cold treats for all to enjoy.
Designed to help the community beat the summer heat while fostering positive connections with local law enforcement, this family-friendly event is a perfect way to cool down and say hello to the officers serving Menifee.
Community members are encouraged to stop by any of the scheduled locations to enjoy a refreshing snack, meet local officers, and take photos with the Pop Patrol team.
The Pop Patrol will spend approximately 30 minutes at each park. The schedule is as follows:
- 11 to 11:30 a.m.: Lazy Creek Recreation Center, 26480 Lazy Creek Rd.
- 1 to 1:30 p.m.: Audie Murphy Ranch House Parking Lot, 24751 Audie Murphy Rd.
- 2 to 2:30 p.m.: Remington Park, 27101 Junipero Rd.
- 3:30 to 4 p.m.: Banner Village Park, 29469 Falcon Hill Dr.
This event is part of the Menifee Police Department’s ongoing efforts to engage with residents outside of emergency situations and strengthen community partnerships in a fun and welcoming environment.
