Golfers, community members, and supporters are invited to tee off for a great cause as Cops for Kids hosts its annual Cops for Kids Classic on Friday, May 1, at Glen Ivy Golf Club in Corona. This highly anticipated event raises vital funds to support youth in Riverside County.
Registration and lunch begin at 12 p.m., followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. and awards and dinner at 5:30 p.m.
Golfers can register for $300 per player or $1,200 for a foursome. For businesses and individuals looking to further support the cause, sponsorship opportunities are available, ranging from $100 to $7,000.
Whether you’re an avid golfer or simply want to give back, the Cops for Kids Classic offers a memorable day of camaraderie, competition, and community spirit—all in support of Riverside County’s children.
Founded in 1995 by two deputies on patrol from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station, they saw a need in the community and took up a collection from other deputies at the station. They started by delivering gifts to underprivileged children while on patrol at Christmas time. That initiative has grown into Cops for Kids, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit serving hundreds of children each year.
