The City of Menifee welcomed two new police officers, a records technician, and a new crime scene investigation van this week.
Officer Miguel Torres came from the Bell Gardens Police Department with experience as a patrol officer, detective, motor officer, and task force officer.
Officer Nicholas Piunno came from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department with experience as a custody deputy and a patrol deputy.
Records Technician Jacqueline Kashima came from the Chino Police Department with five years of experience.
Also this week, the Menifee Police Department received a new crime scene van that will help to ensure that the department’s investigators have what they need when processing crime scenes.
“The van took a little longer to complete than expected, but it was worth the wait,” said the Menifee Police Department. “It has some pretty cool equipment and technology.”
