As part of its wildlife prevention and mitigation program, Southern California Edison is set to deploy drones and helicopters over the next few weeks to inspect electrical equipment in Canyon Lake. This proactive measure aims to identify any damage or potential hazards on poles and towers to ensure safety and reliability.
The aerial inspections will allow SCE to pinpoint any issues that might not be visible from the ground.
The use of drones offers a close-up view of hard-to-reach areas, while helicopters will provide a broader perspective of the electrical network.
