Gerald Edward Paquette, 82, a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran and longtime resident of both Canyon Lake, CA, and Dalton, MA, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025, in Mesa, AZ.
Gerald (Gerry) worked for IBM for most of his lifelong career along with owning a car wash and serving as a beloved usher at church. He had numerous hobbies including licensed pilot, Austin Healy sports car enthusiast, bass fisherman, skier (nordic and alpine), cyclist, cowboy action shooter/range master, scuba diver, white water canoe racer, marathon runner, Josh Billings triathlon competitor, and musician.
Gerry is survived by his wife, Jeanne Conroy. He is also survived by his daughters, Cynthia Hartwig, Christine Shield, Jodi Joseph and Mackenzie Greer; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Stella Paquette; two sisters, Joan Polwrek and Eileen Fuller; and two previous wives, Rebecca Finnern and Rebecca Lowell.
A memorial service will be held on September 27, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Church at 489 Main Street, Dalton, MA. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Helping Hands, an organization dedicated to serving low-income seniors and families in crisis (helpinghandsgroup.us).
