It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Sullivan; a long time and deeply loved resident of the Canyon Lake community. She was fondly known as “Down the Middle Helen” for her consistent drives on the golf course and love of the game. But truth be told, it was never about the score but the cherished friendships of the 9ers Club and everyone she met.
Helen and her husband, John, who passed away five years ago, were members of countless clubs and loved being residents of Canyon Lake.
While we feel the heaviness of loss, we also carry with us the gift of calling her our friend, our neighbor, our mom, our grandma. Helen was fierce in her faith and devoted to God, family, friends, community and country. Her legacy lives in us all — and will forever burn bright in our hearts. Her life was a blessing, memories of her are a treasure. Rest in peace Helen and rejoice in the glory of God’s kingdom.
