Assemblywoman Natasha Johnson has selected Animal Friends of the Valleys (AFV) as the Nonprofit of the Year for Assembly District 63, recognizing the organization’s ongoing commitment to animal welfare.
As part of this recognition, Animal Friends of the Valleys will be honored at a special ceremony on May 20 at the California State Capitol, celebrating its achievements alongside other nonprofits from across the state.
Located in Wildomar, Animal Friends of the Valleys is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the humane care of animals through education and proactive animal services. A core part of AFV’s mission is preventing animal suffering and addressing pet overpopulation in local communities.
This honor highlights the organization’s dedication to creating a more humane future for animals and underscores the important role local nonprofits play in supporting communities.
