Menifee’s annual Independence Day Celebration set for June 27

The City of Menifee’s annual Independence Celebration will take place on Saturday, June 27, from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at Wheatfield Park, located at 30627 Menifee Rd.

This family-friendly event will feature a parade, live music, activities for all ages, and a spectacular fireworks show.

The celebration will kick off with a parade at 5 p.m. The parade will start at Mt. San Jacinto College and travel down LaPiedra Road to Menifee Road. The parade winners will be announced at 6:15 p.m.

Attendees can then enjoy an evening of live music with performances by Fluminis at 5:15 p.m., followed by Phat Cat Swing at 6:30 p.m.

In addition to music, attendees can enjoy a variety of food vendors, craft booths, giveaways, photo opportunities, stilt walkers, bubble and balloon artists, and family-friendly competitions. The celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m.

Event parking will be available at Mt. San Jacinto College. Shuttle service will be provided.

City officials encourage community members to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy an evening of community spirit, live entertainment, and fireworks in celebration of Independence Day.
