A driver suffered significant injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Friday in the City of Lake Elsinore.
Around 9:30 p.m., Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the area of Spring Street and Library Street and located a collision involving a single vehicle, with the driver suffering from significant injuries. Deputies and paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the driver succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station’s Traffic Team assumed the investigation. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and no arrests have been made. The driver’s name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
