The Canyon Lake Yacht Club is offering scholarship opportunities up to $2,000 to Canyon Lake students pursuing careers in the skilled trades through an accredited trade school or vocational training program.
The purpose of this scholarship is to support students who are choosing a hands-on career path and investing in the skills that help build and strengthen our communities.
Applicants must be a Canyon Lake resident, a high school graduate, or a GED recipient in 2025 or 2026. Students must also be accepted into an accredited trade school or certified vocational training program within three months of receiving the award.
Applicants are required to submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, coach, employer, supervisor, mentor, scout leader, volunteer coordinator, or community leader.

The Canyon Lake Yacht Club was established in 1990 by Canyon Lake residents who share a passion for boating, friendship, and community service. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Club supports community events, scholarships, youth programs, environmental stewardship, and charitable initiatives throughout Canyon Lake and beyond.
