The City of Corona’s summer concerts return on July 9 at the Historic Civic Center, offering five weeks of free live entertainment.
Held every Thursday evening through August 6, this popular community event transforms the front lawn of the Historic Civic Center into a lively gathering place featuring live music, food, drinks, and artisan vendors.
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with food vendors, refreshments, and local artisans, while live music takes the stage at 7 p.m. This year’s lineup offers something for everyone, spanning decades and genres from classic dance hits and Latin rock to R&B, rock, and country.
The series kicks off July 9 with The New Originals, performing popular dance favorites from the 1970s and 1980s. On July 16, Sangria Band takes the stage with a high-energy blend of Latin rock, old-school classics and contemporary Top 40 hits.
On July 23, BIG (Brothers Igniting Groove) will deliver smooth and soulful R&B performances. Rock fans can enjoy the sounds of Smoking Cobras on July 30, bringing classic rock-and-roll energy.
The concert series concludes August 6 with Redneck Rodeo, providing a country-themed finale to close out the summer series.
Admission is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of music and community under the summer sky.
