The Canyon Lake Yacht Club kicked off its summer events with a Mardi Gras-themed sunset boat cruise on Saturday. Boats departed from the lodge dock for a short cruise around the main lake and then tied up in Catfish Cove where club members enjoyed appetizers, music, and the sunset.
The next sunset boat cruises are scheduled for August 14 and September 18.
The Yacht Club invites its member to meet the club’s student scholarship recipients on Thursday, July 8, at 6 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park. Pizza and cake will be provided by the club. Attendees are asked to bring their own drinks. Reservations are required. RSVP to Vice Commodore Rich Moline at [email protected].
Upcoming club events include the Whale Hunt and After Par-Tay on July 17, Dinner Meeting on July 29, Party on the Water on October 2, Dinner Meeting on November 18, and the Parade of Lights Holiday Boat Parade on December 11.
