In collaboration with an officer from the Hemet Police Department’s Organized Retail Crimes Team, the Menifee Police Department’s Problem-Oriented Policing Team carried out a blitz operation at Lowe’s.
During the operation, three individuals were observed working together to conceal items within the store.
According to the Menifee Police Department, the suspects were apprehended when they left the store without paying. The stolen items were recovered and the suspects were arrested on charges of organized retail theft.
Later in the operation, officers identified and detained a known suspect who was involved in five separate theft cases. He was arrested on grand theft charges.
