Five residents were displaced on Saturday following a single-story, single-family residential fire in the 28000 block of Haygood Way in Lake Elsinore.
Firefighters arrived on the scene shortly before 6 p.m. to find heavy smoke and fire showing from the residence. Fire crews worked quickly to contain the blaze, which was brought under control at approximately 6:20 p.m.
No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross was requested to assist the displaced residents.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
