The City of Menifee invites the community to join city officials for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of the new Paloma Wash Pedestrian Bridge on Friday, July 24, from 5 to 5:30 p.m. at Central Park, 30268 Civic Plaza Drive.
Weighing in at 127,000 pounds, stretching 185 feet, and designed with lighting and wide ramps and paths, the new bridge provides a safe and scenic crossing for walkers and cyclists, creating a convenient connection between Central Park and the Countryside and Towne Center Marketplaces.
The project is designed to improve accessibility while giving residents and visitors an easier way to travel between recreational areas and local businesses without relying on a vehicle.
